Estate Planning

Wills, living wills, cohabitation agreements and the settlement of an estate — so that what matters to you is properly recorded.

A will

In a will you record what should happen to your house, your money, your other possessions and your debts after you die. Without a will, the law decides who your heirs are. A will lets you make your own choices, including guardianship for your children and the appointment of an executor.

A living will

A living will records who may act on your behalf while you are still alive but no longer able to decide for yourself. It can cover financial, medical and personal decisions.

Living together and marriage

A cohabitation agreement records what you agree with each other. Since 2018 you no longer marry in a full community of property by default, but in a limited community. Prenuptial or partnership conditions let you decide for yourselves what is shared and what is not.

Settling an estate

When someone close to you dies, a number of things need to be arranged. We guide you step by step, from the certificate of inheritance to the division of the estate.
